SFV Holdings is a small business that operates at the unusual intersection of advanced technology in AI, AR, and SH (Synthetic Holography) and small farm agriculture's onboarding of new technologies and practices. We're also unusual in that we're Service Disabled Veteran Owned (51%) and the other 49% is Woman Owned. So here's our management team...
Nicola Vincenzo Cinquegranna (aka Nicola Vincent Granny)
Nick is a first generation Italian American and a Service Disabled Veteran of the US Navy. After a shipboard accident forced him to leave his Naval career he entered the private sector as a multi-discipline engineer (electrical/electronic/software/manufacturing & test) in a 42 year career including everything from bootstrap startups to the Fortune 100 and also including being a serial entrepreneur creating and harvesting several technology-based new ventures.
Today he is SFV's CTO as well as being the VP of Operations of an SFV managed company, Seven Springs Farm Winery, Inc. Nick also believes in giving back to the community and is a board member of the local library and President of the library's charitable foundation. While younger, he's been a volunteer firefighter and EMT for roughly 25 years. He has also been a foster parent specializing in working with children from abusive homes. Nick is an avid sailor, gourmet cook, writer, mediocre musician, bad golfer, and the family "gear head".
Nicks life is summed-up in Robert A. Heinlein's famous quotation: “A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects.” However, Nick intended to put off the "die gallantly" part for as long as possible.
